Our Story
Built by a gamer, for gamers – quality prints without the premium price tag.
From Wargamer to Workshop
Warprinter Workshop began at the gaming table.
Over ten years ago, as keen wargamers, we bought a build-your-own 3D printer out of curiosity. What started as experimenting with prints quickly turned into a passion. We began printing for our own armies, refining settings, testing materials, and chasing better results. Before long, we realised we were spending more time printing than playing — and enjoying every minute of it.
That hobby gradually evolved into Warprinter Workshop: an independent business built on experience, experimentation, and a genuine love for the hobby.
A Passion for the Hobby
First and foremost, we are gamers and painters.
We actively play a wide range of systems, including:
Horus Heresy (30k)
Bolt Action
Marvel Crisis Protocol
Blood Bowl / Fantasy Football
Moonstone
Warhammer Fantasy
Burrows & Badgers
…and many others
Because we use what we print ourselves, every model goes through the same scrutiny we apply to our own collections. If it’s not something we’d be happy to put on the table, it doesn’t get sent out.
This hands-on approach means real-world testing, not just printer-perfect results.
Why We Do What We Do
The cost of miniatures from major companies continues to rise, often putting great-looking models out of reach for many players.
There are some fantastic alternative designs created by talented sculptors, and Warprinter Workshop exists to make those designs accessible — without cutting corners or compromising on quality.
Our aim is simple:
great models, printed properly, at fair prices.
Our Workshop & Capabilities
Warprinter Workshop operates with both resin and FDM printing, allowing us to produce everything from highly detailed character models to larger terrain pieces.
What we offer as standard:
Resin and FDM printing
Miniatures and terrain from 1/87 to 1/32 scale
Thorough cleaning and curing
Supports fully removed
Models supplied unbuilt and unpainted
Careful quality checks on every order
We don’t currently offer a painting service, but it’s something we’re actively looking to introduce in the future.
Quality, expertise, and value for money sit at the heart of everything we do.
Every file is carefully prepared, every print checked, and every order packed with the same care we expect for ourselves. Failed or sub-standard prints don’t get shipped — simple as that.
What sets us apart isn’t just the machines, but the experience behind them:
Over a decade of hands-on 3D printing experience
Real gaming and painting knowledge
A consistent “table-ready” standard
We only send out models we’re genuinely happy to use ourselves.
Ethical Printing & Licensing
We take licensing and creators’ rights seriously.
Warprinter Workshop prints:
Licensed files
Customer-supplied files, where the customer owns the rights to print
We actively avoid printing anything that infringes on intellectual property and aim to support creators by working within proper licensing terms. Ethical printing isn’t a slogan for us — it’s a baseline expectation.
